Linux Introduction
- Linux is an operating system from the Unix family.
- Unix is a much more basic operating system written in the C in the 1970s.
- Linux was introduced in 1991 by a Finnish programmer named Linus Torvalds.
- Unlike other operating systems, Linux is completely free.

- Kernel (core) of the Linux operating system is existed in all Linux distributions.
- The difference between different distributions is in the type of software (Packages), how they are installed and their features.
